Thanksgiving with the family was great, but the best part of the week was watching Leah and Roey. The 2 cousins had not seen each since last Christmas. Leah was almost 5 months old, so they didn't really do much. This time, they were playing and BONDING! It was really sweet to watch them together. They hugged, kissed and tickled each other. They compared belly buttons, held hands when walking, took their baths together, and played together. They also loved chasing each other around the house and "bumping" down the stairs.
They worked really well together too. Dolores bought a wooden pizza (Melissa and Doug) for them. Roey and Leah sat together building a pizza. Roey held the spatula, Leah put a topping on it, and Roey dropped it onto the pizza. This continued for some time. Sure there were a few squabbles. But most of the time, Leah and Roey were happy and excited to be together - like two peas in a pod.
Roey looks mad but he actually wanted Leah to sit on his lap.
