Typical Week

What do Leah and I do each day? It really depends on what day of the week it is because I try to schedule one activity each day. Mondays, we have play dates with friends. Tuesdays, we go to Infant Times 1. Wednesdays, we go to PEP. Thursdays, we work out at the YMCA. Fridays, with have a mommy group. The weekends are for hanging out with daddy.

One day, we walked by a pet shop and decided to take Leah in. Unfortunately, this pet shop didn't have puppies or cats, but Leah was enthralled with the birds.


Leah and I took a great class called Infant Times 1, which was offered through the SBCC adult education program. Laura Sobell, who has been teaching the class for over 15 years, was the instructor. We were so lucky to get into her class. Laura taught us tons of songs and signs to go with them, plus she was a wealth of good information.

Mika and her mom, Akiko, came by for a play date one day. It's hard to see it in this picture but Mika has the most beautiful blue eyes. Leah was a gracious hostess. She shared her toys (the piano from Gram-z was a hit). She also showed Mika her favorite trick... the one that gets mommy and daddy to clap all the time...
